This publicly supported, non-profit 501(c)3 corporation is the umbrella organization which provides the network connecting all Oxford Houses and allocates resources to duplicate the Oxford House concept where needs arise. Oxford House is a concept in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. In its simplest form, an Oxford House describes a democratically run, self-supporting and drug free home. The number of residents in a House may range from six to fifteen; there are houses for men, houses for women, and houses which accept women with children.

Worst case of hypocrisy .No Real recovery;I lived there and relapsed on purpose so they would kick me out,best move I made. Came back to Real Folks in recovery and have been sober a year and 4 months. Oxford House on the coast in Mississippi is a joke. If they spent as much time going to meetings, talking and working Steps with Sponsors maybe they wouldn't have to see all that they could manipulate. Sad... Would not recommend to anyone if you want Real Recovery Do not go there
I lived in Oxford House Big Lake and opened Sunkist with Elizabeth the outreach. I was a resident for 2 years snd 4 months. Oxford House saved my life The houses are fully self supporting. The residents make all decisions. IN REGARDS TO THE COMMENT ABOVE. YOUR ATTITUDE TELLS THE WHOLE STORY JS.... I highly recommend this concept. One has to really want recovery.
