Salvation Army Orlando Adult Rehab Center offers services for both men and women.
The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers provide spiritual, social and emotional assistance for men who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Each center offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have been rehabilitated are reunited with their families and resume a normal life.
Through the sale of donated items, including clothing, furniture and appliances, at Salvation Army thrift stores, the Adult Rehabilitation Center is able to sustain and enhance its programs and services offered to men throughout central Florida.
Each program participant is provided with a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, spiritual direction, and resources to develop life skills and a personal relationship with God as provided by Jesus Christ.
Since this organization does not solicit government funding for this program, the ARC program is made possible through the generosity of those who donate goods that can be sold in their family thrift stores and provide services that are made available to the participants of the programs.
