Mental Health Systems (MHS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 to provide innovative and cost-effective mental health and drug and alcohol recovery services. Our agency was established to improve people’s lives and instill hope by using new and creative treatment strategies that respect time-proven methods of intervention.

Our Family Recovery Center (FRC) is a residential and outpatient treatment program dedicated to assisting women recover from substance abuse, while promoting healthy family reunification. There are four major components of FRC: Residential Treatment; Day Treatment; Outpatient Treatment; and our Child Development Center. We provide a safe and nurturing environment that offers a holistic approach to recovery that includes addiction education and treatment, physical wellness, and meeting the psychiatric needs of our clients.

Our residential and outpatient services include: Assessment and evaluation; Substance abuse treatment; Individual counseling; Mental health services; Parenting education; Case management; On-site Child Development Center; Child therapy; Crisis intervention and planning; Career education; Individual and couples therapy; Family support and education; Domestic violence education and safety planning; Prevention and early intervention; HIV testing and counseling; Transitional housing; Linkage and referrals.
