Humboldt Recovery
Center is the largest and oldest licensed and certified residential
substance abuse treatment facility on the California North Coast. We are a scientifically-based, specialized, phased, therapeutic
community derived from the experiences and insights we have gained from
nearly 40 years of continuous service. We are licensed and certified by the State of California’s Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. We have extensive experience in working with local Native American Tribes. We have a long standing history of offering and providing alternative methods to incarceration. We have an alumni association of over 3,000 graduates, including several with decades of recovery. The residential treatment program varies in length from 90 to 180 days
and includes monitored social re-entry. Upon completion of the
residential program our clients are enrolled in our after care program
for continued support and assistance. Aftercare groups are available to
anyone who has completed our residential program. They have proved very
helpful in the lives of many of our program graduates.
